1. U choose from an individual plan or two family plans. On family plans, U get cover for your spouse and up to five dependent children up to the age of 21, or 25-years old if they are full-time, registered students
2. Cover for natural and accidental death, as well as disability cover
3. Cover of up to R15 000 for natural death, and up to R50 000 for accidental death, subject to the plan U choose
4. Cover for death as the result an of HIV/AIDS-related illness
5. U get a tax-free payout of up to R50 000 in the event of disablement, according to a scale of benefits
6. Claims for natural death will be settled in less than two working days upon receipt of all required documentation

And that’s not all…

1. The service is offered if both the death and burial occur within the borders of South Africa. In the event of the insured’s death, the next of kin may choose the place of burial and the funeral home.
2. The mortal remains will be sent to the branch of the chosen funeral home that is closest to the cemetery.

1. U need to be between the ages of 18 and 65-years old to be a main member
2. U pay a monthly premium
3. There is a six-month waiting period for death as a result of natural causes
4. Suicide is not covered within the first 24 months
